This is an important announcement for UIC members regarding the call for expressions of interest for the International Rail Research Board (IRRB) Chair and Vice-Chair positions for the 2026-2028 term.

At the request of UIC members, the deadline to submit an expression of interest has been extended to 30 September 2025. All other application conditions remain unchanged.

Applications submitted by the original deadline of 12 July 2025 will remain valid. Candidates will receive confirmation of receipt via email by 15 July 2025. This will also state whether the application has been completed correctly.
